Lisa Aguado joined Veritas Meeting Solutions as a CME Program and Speaker Manager where she manages educational programs for various meetings for hundreds of attendees from around the world each year. Lisa comes to Veritas with over eight years of experience working with non-profit associations, a Masters of Arts in Training and Development from Roosevelt University, and a Bachelors of Arts in Marketing and Human Resource Management from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota.
Before joining Veritas, Lisa was a Professional Development Coordinator. She managed educational programs for both in-person meetings and virtual learning events for two non-profit associations, including collecting and reviewing abstract submissions, working with planning committees to finalize programming, speaker management, creating mobile apps and post-event evaluations, and addressing committee, speaker, and customer challenges. She also coordinated speaker materials such as printed programs, the collection of speakers’ slide presentations and handouts. Lisa enjoys working directly with program committees to ensure their educational meetings are successful. With her strong work ethic and “can do” attitude, Lisa can be an asset to the long-term success of the clients we serve and Veritas as a whole.
